Assembly for the chairs and sofa are the same and extremely simple, once you knock out one chair the other chair and sofa are a breeze. Invest in a drill and the correct hex bit for the job. It will make things so much easier, won’t cramp your hands, and ensure everything is fastened down tightly and safely. My only con would be a few of the holes didn’t line up perfectly and required some toughness to get the screws in. This is where the drill was essential. No way I could have got those few screws in without it. Items came undamaged and packaged very well.

For $360, this armchair+loveseat combo is a great deal. Perfect size for my space, easy to keep clean (my dog sheds like crazy! Even with a Roomba it’s hard to keep the fur at bay), works with my aesthetic. The seats are not the coziest – they make a lot of sense as office/waiting room furniture, but they’re a little stiff to lounge on. However, it’s hard to find anything that fits ALL my criteria, and they’re more comfortable for lounging around than my office chair or the hard metal dining chairs I have stacked in the corner. I’ll get some throw pillows, maybe a blanket, and that’ll improve them. Putting them together was a little challenging, and I would say having a second person would have helped significantly, mostly because I kept having to brace 2 unwieldy parts together while also screwing a bolt in. It was doable though, and it didn’t take very long.
